The Academy (Middle & High School)
In addition to our regular Wednesday program, we are now offering (2018-2019) new college preparatory courses especially designed for our middle school & high school students. In addition to earning high school credits for these courses, high school students can get guidance on how to earn college credits through the dual-credit program and AP testing*. Learn more. More than just academics, our unique, Christ-centered courses are designed to help students discover their gifts, develop a vision for their life and train them how to defend their faith.
Additionally, we have trained college advisers and tutors on staff who are here to meet all of your student's individual needs, such as test prep, college and scholarship application help, career counseling, degree selection and more, as they prepare for their future. Here at The Well Academy, we don't just teach classes, we Engage, Equip & Inspire the Leaders of tomorrow!

Each course is 1-2 hours long and is $45 per class per month. See Schedule
Courses in Science
Science & Lab- Using Apologia Science as our base, we offer Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Science, alternating each year. 2018-2019 will be Biology.
Courses in Language Arts & Social Studies
Insights Dual Credit- A cross-curricular course diving into history, religion, government and philosophy by way of literature analysis, essay writing, and debate.
(High school Credit: LA & History, College Credit: History)
*The Middle school version will use EIW and Starting Points
*The high school version will use EIW and text from History 1301
Creative Writing (Fall)- Learn to write like the pros! This course gives students the background knowledge they need in order to create great literary works of Art. Covers story writing and poetry.
Courses in Math, Economics & Business
Group Math Tutoring (Spring)- Learn math with ease! This course will cover a variety of topics in math, helping students gain a better understanding of their current coursework. (math credit)
Money in the real world (Fall) - This course will give your student the tools they need for successful management of their finances. In addition to money management from a biblical approach, this course will delve into topics such as business start-up and choosing a career path.
Courses in Technology
Coding Adventures (first 12 weeks Fall & last 12 weeks Spring, available for middle school only)- Looking for an exciting career in the computer industry? This course is for you! Taught by Bit's Byte's and Bot's, learn the in's and out's of coding by building a 3D video game or programming a robot!
Spanish - Learn to read and write in Spanish! This class takes students with a base knowledge of Spanish to actually speaking, reading and writing the language through an emergent approach.
Hebrew (Spring)- Understand God's word better by learning the original language of the bible! This is a beginner course to help students learn the basics of reading, speaking and understanding the Hebrew Language.
Art & Architecture (Spring)- Learn how to be a great artist by learning from great Artist. This course, for both novice and beginner artist, will work with any artist where they are at and show them how to unleash their greatest potential. Additionally, this course covers lessons in historical architecture and basic instruction in drawing to build!
Lead like Jesus (Fall)- Adapted from the book by Ken Blanchard, this course is designed to teach students important leadership skills while focusing on crucial elements of character development.
