The Academy (8th-10th Grade)

     In addition to our Enrichment+ program, we are now offer college preparatory courses especially designed for our middle school & high school students. High school students can get guidance on how to use our classes to earn high school credits and even the possibility to earn college credits through enrollment in a qualifying dual-credit program Learn more.  More than just academics, our unique, Christ-centered courses are designed to help students discover their gifts, develop a vision for their life and train them how to defend their faith. 

   Additionally, we have trained college advisers and tutors on staff who are here to meet all of your student's individual needs, such as test prep, college and scholarship application help, career counseling, degree selection and more, as they prepare for their future. Here at The Well Academy, we don't just teach classes, we Engage, Equip & Inspire the Leaders of tomorrow! 


Available Course are as follows: 

This year we are offering a series of academic labs designed to target difficult subject matter your student may encounter in their coursework. These one hour labs offer a great opportunity for students to get expert help and insight in areas they are struggling in, while simultaneously working through designated topics each week. Each course is $35 per class per month if you are signing up for the courses individually or if you have an 8th-9th grader, choose the Enrichment-Academy Blend for $135 and build your own schedule. See Schedule

 

10- 11 am Group Tutoring (max 5)

Students may get help with their homeschool work provided by their parents. 


11-12 pm Math Lab -  This general Math lab covers topics in Algebra I and Geometry. (Prerequisite- Pre-Algebra) May be taken to accompany any 8-10th grade math curriculum.


1-2 pm  Writing Lab -   This course gives students the background knowledge they need in order to excel at writing. Covers expository, descriptive, persuasive, narrative and creative writing . May be taken to accompany any 8-10th grade Literature curriculum.


2-3 pm Science General Lab- Using Apologia Science as our base, we offer a General Science Lab covering Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Please note this a LAB ONLY course. May be taken to accompany any 8th-10th grade Science curriculum.


 *Please note that for successful completion weekly assignments may be required. Parents are fully responsible for student's education as well as creating and keeping transcript. Our academy classes are a powerful assisting tool for the primary educator but are not without parent involvement. Approximately 1-3 hours of homework may be required for Academy courses. No curriculum purchase is required.
